Step 5 Adding to Brand Saturation.
To get saturation of your brand identity you must use multi media. Your local community news paper, bus stops, shopping carts (a bit expensive), little league field banners, sports team sponsorship. You must spend a bit to jump up quickly. The public must see you coming and going. Start in a small area, one town. Then branch out as you business grows. Remember grow out the circles from the center like the pebble hitting the water. Looking back in Steps 1-4 we covered many ways to gain a presents quickly, now we are going for it all.
When you are doing an open house, announce that you will be present. Make yourself a big deal. Put it in your ads, mls remarks for open house and your web site. Adjust your just listed mailings to coincide with open house announcements. Let people know you are available at these events to talk to them. It will bring out more potential listing prospects.
I can't tell you how people would follow me around from house to house. I sell mainly new homes and I would see the people over and over and build relationships. Many times over years and finally make a sale. There wasn't any work to it, just socializing with cordial conversation. If allowed put your open houses signs out early. It gives you a lot of exposure.
Create alliances and relationships with your local stores, restaurants, deli shops etc. Give them your business, some will let you leave your cards or hand outs. Some shops have bulletin boards, use them. Remember it is sight frequency we are trying to achieve. You are trying to touch as many people as you can as many times as you can. If someone may know you, we what to be there when they need you.
Give outs, like refrigerator magnets, pens, calendars are also good. You should again give them to your strongest areas and expand from there. Do what you can afford from the middle out. Circle out as far as you can afford.
If you have the place, run a holiday party and invite your neighbors and your past customers. It would be a function, to get to know other people in the community for your past customers along with a thank you. The party could become a regular routine and keep the referrals and Brand growing.
Making sure you brand your niche, and being in front of the public, will keep you on top all the time. Of course the internet is a big part of this program. I will deal with that's as a step by itself.
